Reverse T3 (rT3) Test

The Reverse T3 (rT3) Test provides a comprehensive evaluation of thyroid function by assessing the conversion of T4 into its inactive form, rT3. Elevated rT3 levels may indicate metabolic dysfunction, chronic stress, systemic inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, or impaired detoxification pathways. Even when standard thyroid markers (TSH, T3, T4) appear within range, excessive rT3 can contribute to persistent symptoms such as fatigue, cognitive impairment, weight gain, and thermoregulatory issues.

This test aids in identifying underlying physiological imbalances, allowing for a targeted, evidence-based approach to thyroid and metabolic health optimization.
